I created the reading, memorization, and review plan specifically for the Pocket Dollar Tree Bibles that can be found online and in Dollar Tree Stores across the US. It is based on the page numbers and columns found in that particular Bible.
I've included a digital copy of the pages for those who may not have access to the Pocket Dollar Tree Bible but still want to do the plan.
Starting it shouldn't take more than 20 - 30 minutes (possibly less). As you are connecting and reviewing more and more passages/ pages it will take more time.
For someone who follows the plan exactly as written, it may take up to 2 hours a day.
For many people that may sound like a lot of time. . . but it is about the bare minimum of time people spend to get good at other hobbies or interests.
I've tried to make it as achievable as possible but I know that it isn't for everyone.
There is no "catch" :-) how I came to decide to attempt to memorize the NT is a long(ish) story. But once I got here and realized that I had come up with something that could help others I decided to work to refine it so that I might have some partners on the journey ;-)
When I was researching, I found that there were a lot of resources for people of other religions who wanted to memorize their holy books completely. And there was a culture around doing it.
I couldn't find anything like what I put together when I was looking. . . so I created it for myself. And when I was done, I thought it was too good to not share it!
I'm Amy, a Christian, a wife, mom, creative, small business owner, sister-in-Christ, who has been saved by the Blood of the Lamb.
From a child, I've always been deeply interested in spiritual things, deepening my walk with God, and truly understanding His Word.
